I can’t say enough good things about our stay! It was immaculately clean, had so many personal touches, spectacular views/outdoor areas. It had everything we could need (& nice/updated appliances). It is also centrally located - great for exploring both sides of the island. Not to mention Craig & Cal themselves. We found ourselves in a tight spot when a prev booked rental fell through, & from the start they were eager to help, w/quick responses & helping to get us situated in just an hour’s notice. They treated us like family, answering our questions, immediately addressing any special requests we had-even squeezing us into their SeaThru bioluminescent kayak tour (highly recommend!), & accommodating a later checkout. Cal even brought us delicious treats (twice!) during our short stay! We’ve stayed almost exclusively in Airbnb’s for years now, & this experience was far & away our favorite. If you’re lucky enough to have their cottage available for your stay, definitely book it!

Craig and Cal’s Cliffside property was an amazing place to stay during our trip to St. Croix. The views and the property were relaxing and serene, with lots of places to lounge as a group or relax by oneself. The location is very close to two of our favorite places to eat (the Chicken Shack and The Landing) and it makes for an easy drive to the beaches on the east or west sides of the island. Our unit had all the amenities needed for 4 without our feeling cramped, with plenty of what was needed for nights we cooked or ordered takeout. The Sea Thru Kayaking is a must in Sugar Bay and Craig was super helpful in making the bookings and getting everything set up. Their off-grid experience was also great, seeing all the care they put in to make the property sustainable. Our family throughly enjoyed it.

Loved my stay here…hosts are super helpful and take excellent care of their unique and well appointed cottage. Would most definitely recommend!

This was a great stay. Craig and Cal have a really well-run operation with a lot of very nice perks that come with the stay. Craig is very communicative in advance, making sure you know where you're going and that you're greeted when you get there. They also run a kayak shop, letting us borrow kayaks whenever they were open, and loaned us snorkeling equipment on top of it all. The stay itself is fabulous. The view is incredible, the facility is in great condition and comfortable. We loved it. Cal especially makes it a comfortable experience. She even brought us treats she baked herself on multiple occasions, and they were excellent. The off-grid component does require some thought on the part of the user. Not a big deal, just something to get used to. Craig and Cal are good about gentle reminders when needed. Nice to see net zero in action, though. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this stay. 5/5 on all counts

Outstanding view from the patio! Looks exactly like the photos inside and out, and has all the necessities- especially air conditioning, wifi, and laundry. The owners were very kind people and all-around generous and communicative. They also own the kayaking business at the bioluminescent bay and invited us on a trip!
