We had a great stay here! There are plenty of beds and rooms to spread out, especially for a large group. The house was comfortable, warm, and perfect for a weekend stay near Shawnee mountain.

The stay was great. In the attic one of the platform bed obviously was damaged and covered up before we rented the place. When I sat on the bed it fell. I texted the husband the day we were leaving about it & the house not being clean like it should. The next day I get a text from the wife about $150 owed for the damage to the bed and extra cleaning. The extra cleaning was for the smoking. I will pay that even though the contract did not state that and I don't smoke. But it's kool. I'll take the blame. I worked it out with the host on the other charge.

DO NOT rent here! We got there and supposedly there was a power outage the night before.We had no running water, no hot water.Because of this, the house couldnt be cleaned as it should have been-tubs and bathrooms left dirty. We understand things happen. Day 2 still no water. Safa never sent anyone to look into it- she'd respond that shes sending someone and never did. When i complained she said -what do you expect, the house is over 200 years old. I expect to have running water! Their pellet stove was unmaintained causing smoke and flames, had to use an extinguisher to put out. no smoke detectors in kitchen, dead one on 2nd floor. It snowed the night before, she did not have driveway plowed. bought our own shovels had to clear ourselves. There was a mouse -i sent her a picture, she accused us of having a pet hamster loose. I asked for a refund, she refused accused me of breaking stove and of having underage drinkers at house. arrogant, rude owner. A shame bc house is charming!

This is the second year we have stayed here for a family reunion. We love the space, the feel of it, the way it is laid out and that it is stocked with extras. There was enough room for us to spread out and great spaces for us to gather as a group. Safa was extremely responsive to any questions we had.

The airbnb was very beautiful and in a secluded area, so we were able to make as much noise and play music as loud as we wish. The day of our check out, we actually got snowed in and Safa let us stay as long as possible, and also paid for a plowing company to come get our cars out which we were very grateful for. The only issue we had was it was a bit cold in the house even with the heat on. There were a few reviews saying that there wasn’t hot water but we did not have a problem with that. The upstairs was perfect for a group of boys and they really enjoyed their stay upstairs. Would definitely recommend for a big group of people.
