Cute little cottage perfect for 2 people, hosts are very nice, responsive, and keep up with the place. It was clean and very welcoming. Peaceful little spot thats kind of tucked away, was perfect for us. Bed was very comfortable as well.

We were looking for a nice little place to stay in before the eclipse, and this was perfect! It was close to many restaurants, stores, and hiking trails. It was a good size for just the 2 of us and our dog. It overall had a cozy feel and made us feel welcomed with towels and etc. ready!

I agree with Austin. For the price it was ok but we had major issues throughout our 3-night stay. Amy WAS very responsive. But we had better things to do on our vacation than tell her all that was wrong and have someone fix it, and not on our schedule. And: why weren’t these issues solved before renting? Anyway. Also good: shower water pressure good, comfortable bed, nice bedding. The bad: In the first 10 minutes we walked in: *Place was cold, & no instructions on how to turn on heater. The GAS FIREPLACE does NOT VENT to outside. It worked well but we didn’t feel safe to leave on when sleeping. * Opened the door to bathroom and knob fell off in my hand. * Flushed the toilet and it ran and ran. * Opened the dresser drawer to put away clothes and the drawer fell out (loose rail) Amy had someone fix these the next day. Next day, discovered the glass plates in the cupboard were dirty. Shower doors don’t function . Sofa stained. Neighbor dog barks right by bed starting early in AM

Amy’s place was safe, clean and comfortable. It fit our weekend needs perfectly. It’s a cute, unique, little cottage in a pretty setting. A big thanks to Amy for the easy communications and quick responses- so appreciated!

Overall for the price, it isn’t a terrible location for a night or two during mild seasons. Without insulation, cold is quite cold in the cottage and, although the gas heater functions very efficiently, it leaves a strong odor that I wouldn’t trust with smaller pets. Speaking of pets, the dogs around the cottage are always barking. The attempts to modernize the cottage were seemingly on a thin budget with little experience on how to perform them. It seems the budget should have been focused on patching holes and cracks. The side door was unlocked when we first arrived and the only way to tell it was locked was from the outside. The toilet had issues running, but was usually able to be fixed by jiggling the handle or opening it and moving the chain. There did not seem to be wifi although I didn’t ask. Sauce packets and fortune cookies from previous guests were an interesting find in the kitchen. Amy was fairly quick to respond to any issues, though.
