MOST TERRIBLE AND NIGHTMARE-ish experience. It might not have been intentional but it ruined my little daughter's birthday, the reason for which we had booked the cottage. Host absolutely forgot to give us the lockbox code, host was unresponsive and we had to wait out, in front of the cottage for more than 4 hours in cold and evening setting in with 2 little girls and our dog. Ultimately, when Airbnb support also couldn't reach host and they cancelled the reservation then the host remembered to share the lockbox code, after we had called host for more than 10 times, left voice messages, sent SMSs and messages on Airbnb app. Although, after 4 hours when host finally remembered about giving us the code, we got a call from them when it was getting dark, kids were restless and uncertainty of nowhere to go had settled in. Host did apologize but it didn't change anything. NEVER GOING THERE EVER AGAIN.

It’s a really beautiful place, i was so happy there. The lake it’s a great spot for pictures. Very very recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. My family was extremely pleased with the direct access to water. My number 1 advice to you would be to crack open the bunky ASAP and get out all the fun water equipment, etc. Also, very cute in there for a couple or single to sleep! Keep in mind that the light in the morning comes right in (says my sis). The view from the dock is spectacular!!! Outdoor spots to hang are fantastic. The bbq and fire pit are awesome, definitely recommend buying at least two bags of firewood/days of planned fires :p. Keep in mind: - Do NOT leave any food out while in the cottage. Ants are present and will converge on food. - It is cold overnight, use the fleece blankets accordingly/pack warm pjs. - You have to take all your garbage and recycling with you, so do not fill your vehicle to the brim going there. - Nearby town shops are not all open during the week, so enjoy it primarily Fri-Sun. My family and I had a great time at Scott’s place. It was a perfect way to end summer. We had a bbq with our closets friends and they all loved the place. The kitchen came fully equipped with everything you would want from home. The beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend it and we are definitely considering doing it again next year.
