17th century barn in rural Suffolk. sleeping 7 (5 adults) with 2 double en-suites and 3rd bedroom with single and bunk beds & family bathroom; well equipped and furnished, perfect for couples, families or friends. Outside, a south-facing patio with table & chairs, covered eating space, campfire pit, cob pizza oven, heated woodland showers and access to the owners' 3-acre meadow. EV charging point & bikes to borrow. A quiet site with a community-owned village pub and nearby rivers and sea. Enjoy a luxurious break at any time of the year; with thick insulation in the walls, floor and roof, as well as underfloor heating and a wood-burner, the Barn is wonderfully cosy whatever the weather! In the warmer months, enjoy sitting outside as dusk approaches, watching the bats come out, followed by the stars in our inky black sky. In your own green space outside, why not light the campfire or cook up a pizza or two in the cob oven, picking some of the wild garlic or herbs to add in to the mix or simply relax in a deck chair with a book.

so many lovely special memories made at this magical property. The property itself is just beautiful. It manages to feel pretty, grand and cosy all at once. The different outside eating areas meant we could catch the sun wherever we ate and enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds while we ate. We all very much hope to come back again.
Ivy Grange Farm Barn is fabulous! So many thoughtful touches, everything you need and so much more. The pizza oven was a great activity to do with the children and exploring the outdoor area including ‘The Lookout’ was enjoyed by us all! A great countryside retreat!
Nick and Kim were such lovely hosts, always responsive and to any queries. The property was lovely and clean and set in such a beautiful surrounding.
Beautiful location and perfect for the children: beds were extremely comfy and everything you needed was to hand. Communication was great. When we decided to have a last minute BBQ Kim went out her way to find us some coal and a late night delivery of an extension lead for our son’s computer to the projector. Thank you Kim. Loved the eco products and the log fire was so cozy. A very calming setting and our 2 autistic boys settled so quickly which says a lot… would love to stay again. Big thumbs up from us. Thank you 🤩
We all had a great time at the barn. It's probably the best quality finish and most well equipped rental I've stayed in. The hosts were very helpful from booking to leaving. We visited on a wet February weekend but I imagine it's even better in the summer when you can make the most of the outdoor areas

A rural farming area of north east Suffolk, just 8 miles from the beaches of Walberswick (our favourite) and a similar distance for river swimming in the Waveney. We are adjacent to a quiet country lane (National Cycle Route 1), though at the height of harvest, you'll see your fair share of tractors!
Nearest station is Brampton (Suffolk), just 2 miles away, or Halesworth (3.5 miles) if you want to do some shopping first. We are happy to collect you from either station if you are travelling without a car. A bus runs past the front gate which you can hail, heading to Halesworth or Beccles. We have electric vehicle charging available and also bicycles to borrow; 2 conventional, 2 electric (we make a small charge for use of the electric bikes).
