Fabulous home with great facilities. We celebrated my son’s birthday with his friends and there was plenty of space and activities to keep them occupied even thought the weather was rather wet. Private with a rural feel, but still close to amenities … perfect spot!

Great place for a big group. Could fit 12 comfortably. Hard to find initially as the postcode is about 500m down the road. Make sure you heat the hot tub nice and early!

As a large family this house was perfect for what we needed, plenty to do around the house & lots to do in the surrounding area. We used both BBQ & pizza oven, the hot tub was slightly difficult to use & could do with a up lift of a new modern tub. The games room was perfect for the kids to enjoy for a bit of time out to relax & watch a film. Barnstaple is only a 10min drive from the house which was ideal for a food shop & grabbing those essentials & buying fire wood for the pizza oven, we took a couple of day trips one to Westwood Ho beach & Lynton & Lynmouth cliff railway both roughly 30mins in a car. Those with dogs & young children beware the outdoor area is not secure with a huge dip & at end of path leads to the main road. Other than that we made lovely family memories & would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful spacious house kitted out to a very high standard but felt very homely. Kitchen was large, well designed with everything you would need and more. Bathrooms and bedrooms were all to a high standard with everything again supplied. Fantastic outside eating area we used a lot, weather was brilliant. Lots to entertain the children, pool table, cinema room and their very own lounge and loads of room to play outside. The house is situated near Barnstable and near some beautiful beaches. Only negative point to make was no wood was supplied for the pizza oven or hot tub. Didn’t use the pizza oven but did try to use the hot tub to a degree of some success but it needs a lot of wood which we purchased down the road. Children were disappointed that there was no treehouse. Having said this we all had a fantastic time. Children upset when we had to leave!! Would highly recommend this beautiful house. This house was just perfect for our party of 12, with 6 children. Even though the weather wasn’t very good during our week there were so many things to do in the house and grounds we were not at a loss. The house was immaculate and clean, with lots of amenities well suited for large groups like us - including 2 dishwashers which were perfect for us as we like to do lots of cooking. Used the BBQ and outside pizza oven which were so well designed. We made good use of the gym and games rooms, but still managed to get to the local beaches on numerous days. Many said this was the best family holiday yet! So all good!
