The stay was nice. Upon arrival we noticed the air conditioner was not working and they answered immediately and had someone out to fix it ASAP! Same goes for the guests before us did not take the trash to the road so they were full, and someone also came immediately to empty the trash! (I would say that now leaving, the instructions make it seem like you are to take the trash to the road on the day it ends up getting picked up, so we also didn’t get the trash out on time… that is my only complaint!). The house was very large and spacious and a quick walk to the beach or pier! We enjoyed our stay!
We absolutely loved staying here!! The view was incredible and such close proximity to the beach. The home was large and spacious and accommodated our family perfectly. We hope to be able to stay here again next year. Once again the Vacasa representatives were responsive and extremely helpful!!
The home was beautiful but the contact is not local and acted as a middle for issues. A quick list of issues would be no wash cloths, no hand towels, no can opener, trash from previous tenants never picked up, roaches in 2 showers, stovetop temp numbers gone so you have to guess the temp, stovetop not cleaned properly, broken chair on deck, washing machine hot/cold water lines reversed, ceiling fan over master bed loose from ceiling. We chose to purchase our own wash cloths, etc., because it was getting late and we needed to go to the store anyway. We only contacted Vacasa regarding the trash while we were there. There was no action on that so we didn't bother with anything else. The roaches didn't show up until day 6 when it got cold outside. First load of laundry, washer set at tap/cold and clothes came out steaming hot. Next load temp set at hot and clothes were washed in cold water. The price during winter was high but reasonable. That would not be true at summer rates.
Enjoyed our stay. Couple small issues that were taken care of right away. Garbage disposal and TV in main living space were replaced. I appreciate them being very responsive.
Great house! Very spacious with outstanding Master Bedroom! No Keurig coffee maker but none advertised so we went out and bought one since we brought pods. No grill advertised so I brought my own but small grill was below house. FYI Gulf Shores has ordinance that requires all beach tents, chairs, etc. to be removed from public beach 1 hour after sunset. We saw city sign at entrance to public beach access but did not think it applied to area in front of our rental property as this was private beach access, as was our experience in other rentals we had used on Ft. Morgan beach. Gulf Shores Public Works removed and disposed in the middle of the night over $500 worth of our property. It would be great to alert future renters of this situation so that this unfortunate situation does not happen in the future. This could be handled by a sign on the refrigerator, etc. We went out and bought new equipment and every night brought the equipment back the short walk to the home.
