The location and apartment are great, but the host absolutely ruins the experience. Much of the listing is misleading or outright false. The listing states the possibility of footsteps overhead but this is a huge understatement. on a nearly daily basis, the husband and wife we yell at each other, often after "quiet hours", and when that wasn't happening their baby would be screaming and crying. When I asked the host to lower the volume, he sent an angry message then stood outside my door menacingly for five minutes. The apartment also had a leak directly outside the bedroom, one of the beds was broken, the only trash can was a tiny bathroom sized one (on a listing that is meant for 6 people!), the host was constantly blasting the heater at 80 degrees, and they would not provide basic items such as brooms/toilet plungers/hampers for their towels until asked. This listing has the potential to be great, but the host needs to behave as if they have paying guests, and not get mad/unsafe.

It was a nice and clean place to stay. Also there is a park very close by. The environment is very good. But at night, it’s easy to hear the footsteps coming from upstairs, making it harder to fall asleep. And I know the owners have no control over this, but the neighbors also have a large dog that will bark at you as you walk around the back of the house to the door, which can scare you if you don’t expect it.

It was a very comfortable space in a quiet neighborhood. We came from out of town and were able to book quickly for an overnight stay! Host responded fast and made everything easy.

This stay fit what we needed for a place to sleep after a day in the City. The bathroom/shower was very nice. We didn’t realize from the listing that you had to walk from the common area through one bedroom to get to the other, but it still fit our purposes and didn’t bother us since there was a door separating the two rooms.
