Sent us the wrong address when sent us details on checking in and some reminders for the cabin. The house doesn't have a number on it to be sure you're at the right place . The place was clean and comfortable for 6. There was a serious bee problem, we killed about 30 bees in the 6 days mostly in the bedroom. On the third day I messaged the host as one of my toddlers got stung and my other toddler was having an allergic reaction with rash, welts, and hives to something even after giving him benedryl and taking him to the Er and still not clearing it up, but took him over a day and a half to get back to me. When he did get back to me stated that the extremist had been there several times for the bee problem. I think we should have been warned before booking it and taking payment/ coming down if that is the case as there are people in my family who are severely allergic to bees and me having toddlers I don't know if they are allergic or not.

House was clean. Quiet location but I think if a restaurant ever opens back up next to it - it wouldn’t be quite as quiet. We were told by cleaning person she had noticed bees and had let owner know- he sprayed and not his fault but for the remainder of the stay we were sweeping up dead bees or ones that were not well. All in all a cute place and it worked for us.

Such a cute little cottage! We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well appointed, comfortable, and cozy. The breeze coming of the lake kept it cool, even though there wasn't AC. It's a beautiful area, and there is plenty to do to keep you busy, but it was almost better to just relax at the lake!

Scott’s place is right on a boatyard. It’s located next to a commercial building. Not much privacy .The grass infront not well kept . The grill you share with neighbour .Picnic table is broken, we used neighbours table, they were very nice . The windows nets had holes so loads of bugs. In summer if you want AC , there is no AC . The fan is in the kitchen so if you sleep in the living area , get ready for the bug bites and carry a lot of bug spray or mosquito net . My son has bug bites all over his face and hands .The bathroom door don’t close , it’s a sliding barn door! I asked host where to throw the garbage , he responded after 2 days . Bedroom have a small fan and the table lamp don’t plug in . The kitchen don’t have frying pan it does have 2 saucepan and one stockpot. It has a flat pan. Just sharing details for those who loves cooking. There is basic cooking utensil not a lot so please carry your own :) It’s good for 2/3 people . It’s like a camp cabin. The location is good .

The cottage is in a great location, about 100 yards from the water. There are at least two other buildings on the property and the friendly neighbor helped us find the cute cottage. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend at the lake. Would definitely rent in the future.
