This is a great place to stay! The house is very comfortable and the location is excellent. We went on several hikes around the lake as well as going to the country store for the best breakfast burritos. A lot of our time was soent relaxing on the back porch, in the hot tub, and grilling some amazing food. Would highly recommend, and hopefully we'll be back again sometime!

Bear’s Den was a perfect getaway in the woods for our family. Very quiet, peaceful, and clean! Our kids enjoyed having plenty of space to run around and had fun walking over to the reservoir nearby. A pleasant 30 minute drive to Durango.

I tend to book trips with my kids and not feel refreshed afterwards, since most of my planning is geared to each of the (3) of them. But Kyle’s place was so well put together that I actually got to relax. My kids are 16, 12 and 3 and each of them had something to do or enjoy at “the cabin” as we liked to call it. I love cooking on vacation, and was able to do so in the well stocked kitchen. This hasn’t been the case at some places, where I needed to purchase so much it barely made sense to cook. My teen and tween enjoyed the board games with me in the evenings. We all loved the hot tub. My 3 year old loved playing outside with the little trike and swing set. It was so nice to have little kid utensils, plates and cups so I didn’t have to worry about him breaking anything. Overall, as a family, we loved this spot. It’s perfect for a family getaway, we definitely recommend it. This was the first trip I felt genuinely rejuvenated upon the departure.

Cute, cozy cabin vibes! Perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Couch and beds were super comfy and the hot tub was the cherry on top!
