We went up with family and friends to see the 2024 eclipse. Unfortunately, it was cloudy! However, we still had a lovely time. Carol was very responsive and was there to meet us and show us around. She was very forthright and honest about the house and accmododations.

Dear Carol, thank you for allowing our family to spend the weekend at your lovely and cozy home. We appreciate your proactive communications from the time of the booking to the day of our check-in. Thank you for the information you provided prior to our arrival that helped us plan our sight seeing and activities. Your house is beautiful and cozy and was perfect for our family gathering. Our family members drove over 4 and half hours to get there from all over Pennsylvania and you were there to greet us and help us check in. Thank you for providing a clean and well stocked house with clear instructions to access everything we needed. We would love to stay at your house again.

. As stated, Carol stayed in the basement while we were there. Never could tell she was there unless we had questions or invited her to join us at the campfire. She always responded to any questions we had before the stay or during the stay. The place has a few things that need worked on (as she stated it is a work in progress). None of them were an issue. We had 6 couples in 6 bedrooms and it worked great. Lots of rooms to enjoy your space in. It was a great area to ride our motorcycles around in. We covered everything from Niagra to Cayuga Lake while doing 850 miles of riding. THANKS Carol.

Had a great time at Carol’s home over the 4th of July weekend. Huge, spacious house easily accommodated our large company. Large, well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy. One thing you might want to note: GPS leads you to a wrong place, follow Carol’s directions to get to the house. It is a bit further away than we would like from places we wanted to see (30-40 minute drive), but fairly priced and large enough for a big company. May look outdated from the outside, but has everything I’d want in my own house and Carol is working on the repairs. Would definitely stay again, if visiting the area.
