Sarah and Simon were so wonderfully hospitable. The room was perfect and had everything I needed... I was also given access to the washer and the clothesline outside (which I admit was kinda new for me as tumble dryers are more common in the US). They were always ready with suggestions and answers to my questions. (And the cats are cute, too!) I will admit there was probably a -little- more walking involved than I expected, especially coming from Los Angeles where everyone drives, but Folkestone is such a nice little town... you're a 10-minute walk from the beach, a 5-minute walk from the nearest convenience store (off-licence), another 10-15 minutes from Tesco Express (small market with all the basics and more), and 10-20 minutes from bus stops to Dover and Canterbury. All in all, I would totally stay here again!

Another really lovely few days back at Sarah and Simons, I’ll definitely be back again, they are a super cool , kind warm and friendly couple plus the room ticks every box, it’s perfect 🤩

Sarah was super kind. The place is in a great location. Despite being small, we’ve had everything we needed, even if we were two adults and a child. There was a nice breakfast left for us at the first day and everything was spotless clean and stylish.

Sarah and Simon are excellent hosts - welcoming and available. The description of the lodgings is very complete and corresponds to the reality. Very good value for money. I recommend this place to stay.

I have stayed at many airbnbs , but this was by far my most favourite! Sarah and Simon are so warm, friendly and welcoming , I felt immediately relaxed and comfortable when I arrived and during my stay. The space is absolutely perfect, Sarah and Simon have put so much love and care into providing guests with everything they could possibly need , from the delicious filter coffee machine to the tasty home-made sausage roll & cake, to the interesting artefacts, lights, spotlessly clean bathroom, super comfy floating double bed, the fridge, microwave, oh my goodness I could ramble on and on about how great my stay was, and how it fulfilled all my needs and expectations! I will definitely be returning and recommending the space to all my friends and family Ps. I forgot to mention if you turn left , you can quickly access the nature reserve/beach which I didn’t have time to properly explore, there is so much beauty on your doorstep, or, the quirky streets of Folkestone if you turn right…
