We had a decent stay at Tambo Atacama Lodge. We checked in a little earlier which was great. The apartment was pretty basic but good enough. Inside we had a large pedestal fan which was great in the heat. We would have liked it if there were more kitchen utensils, it was pretty barebones but we made just about. We had a nice seating area out the front with a BBQ and out the back was more seating along with hammocks which we didn't use, we tried to stay out of the sun when possible. The apartments are a 5min walk from a supermarket and ~10mins to the main street in San Pedro de Atacama. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the southern tourist hotels. Lastly, the rain shower head either needed a really good cleaning or replacing, it was not in a good state. The towels we were given were stained and we noticed some exposed wiring in the kitchen underneath a cabinet (don't let that alarm you, it wasn't the first time we'd seen that in Chile) Communication and checkout was easy.

Pablos place is a real gem - far enough away from the main area so you have some peace and quiet (and an amazing view from the stars right on your doorstep!) but close enough to the bars and restaurants that you don’t have to walk too far. There wasn’t much hot water - but this would probably be the case in the whole area because of where it is. They have a Parrillia outside which is such a nice touch with a table and two benches so you can relax in the hammock outside for some down time if you prefer. Maria was an absolute star - she was always on hand to help us with anything we needed.

Buen espacio cerca de centro de San Pedro. Ofrecen servicio de limpieza para estadías de al menos una semana con lavandería, bastante conveniente. Pablo me ayudó con varias preguntas durante mi estadía y el personal dentro del lodge es muy amable y atento.
