The unit was beautiful, new, well equipped and bright. The pool, lagoon and area was amazing! The resort and townhouse were great and the management company was very responsive and friendly. Issues that we had with the unit were quickly and pleasantly resolved. We would absolutely come again! A few things about the area/unit that might be helpful information for other guests: - the unit is laid out over 3 floors with very long steep steps, making for lovely high ceilings but not ideal for small children, the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Not an issue for my party but I didn’t realize it from the photos. - the pool restaurant is now open! - the lagoon is quite deep in parts and drops quickly in some areas and had me wishing I’d brought a life jacket for my youngest. - the pool/lagoon and area are meticulously cleaned daily and have a pricey resort feel but with sweet helpful friendly staff - Harmons grocery is the best and has everything you need!

Nice and clean with good amenities. My kids loved the pool area! I will say that the townhome echoed pretty bad, I could hear people talking or walking up and down stairs from the third floor. Other than that it was great and a quite location!

Overall really great place to stay! Listing did not accurately describe the number of stairs, and how tall the unit is. If stairs are a concern, I would not book this place. Cleanliness was very good, minus the dirty plates in the cupboard. We ended up going and buying paper plates to use instead. Proximity to highway also made for some noise while trying to sleep. Pool and lagoon access made this a really fun place to stay! I’d give this a solid 4.5 stars!

We had a wonderful time staying at Stapes Escapes. Short walk to the pool and Lagoon and the large hot tub right around the corner was nice. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed to prepare our food minus a pitcher to make the lemonade. Bring your own spices, nothing there except cinnamon and pepper. Plenty of plastic plates, bowls and glasses so we didn't have to run the dishwasher as often. We used the grill and ran out of propane but found a full tank in the pantry the next day. There was plenty dishwasher and dish detergent and garbage liners for the kitchen. There is a washer and dryer but there were enough towels that we didn't even use it. The king bed was very soft and would sink in on both sides when we slept on it so if you need a supportive bed choose one of the other bedrooms! The resort is beautiful and we will definitely be back in the future!
