Great place to stay. We were 4 ladies all with own room. Large villa, nice outside area to sit and well equipped kitchen. Powerful, hot shower and comfortable beds. We had an amazing time. Joana is a very attentive host and sent many recommendations and quick to respond. The Mercado Bom Sucesso is a food hall type place better than time out Lisbon. It’s walkable 5 minutes. Very reasonable for food and drinks. The supermarket and shopping area is there too. About 30 min walk into Ribeira where there are so many places to eat and drink. Recommend a Fado show it’s like opera! Boat trip on Douro and Port tasting a must. Cable car and get the 500 bus from Sao Bento station to the beach at Matosinhos it’s stunning and eat fresh grilled sardines from the bbqs in the restaurants. The beach is beautiful, sandy and huge. Only 20 mins away by bus. Porto is amazing and this is a great place to stay.

Just back from a delightful stay in Porto with friends. The place was a home-away-from-home. Very clean and very comfortable. Joana was a wonderful, caring host, from start to finish, who provided us with clear check in instructions, and offered plenty of recommendations for things to do and see in Porto. Most days we walked to these locations, but also found getting an Uber was very cheap when those legs were too tired to walk anymore! Cannot recommend this stay enough! You are in safe hands here! Enjoy!! When you have seen all you can in Porto I would recommend riding the historic #1 tram to the end of the route where you will arrive at the beach, walk along the Foz district, to the Praia de Gondarem for a much needed cocktail and dinner with a sea view.

Joana was the perfect host. We really liked the property and used the space inside and out during our visit. We were 5 in total and there was definitely room for another adult and two children.
