The house is lovely and peaceful with lots of space for a family group. It’s homely with a relaxed feel, and has a very well equipped kitchen so cooking for 8 is straightforward. The sea views and access to the beach are very special and the large garden would be great in summer. Jacqueline replied quickly to all my queries and was very friendly and helpful throughout. It was a real home from home & we’d definitely go back again.

Had a lovely stay over Christmas and New Year. Jacqueline was friendly, helpful and very responsive. The house was decorated for Christmas and she even left the tree up with decorations next to the tree so the children could decorate it themselves. A Very thoughtful touch. The house is truly wonderful set in a beautiful part of the island. We enjoyed the private walk/steps down to the beach and the views are spectacular from the garden. The house is very spacious and homely. We throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone seeking a home from home stay.

Firstly, our ferry crossing was cancelled on day of departure due to technical issues. Jackie was able to push our arrival fwd a day which we were so grateful for. We arrived next day very late in the evening and did struggle to find the house as the name plate was dark too. But neighbours in the village were so helpful and we did find it eventually. The house is located 30mins from Douglas, 15 from Laxey (fantastic beach cafe!), and 2m Ramsey (wonderful Chinese Restaurant in main street): in it's own grounds and with two wonderful gardens each with it's own personality - and wild life. We loved sitting out back on the bench late afternoon to listen to the waves below and with the most glorious coastal views. The house is a discovery of rambling, adjoining rooms: a beloved home from home with echos of a young family which was a joy. Books! Candels, and a basket of logs should you need to light the fire - we didn't as it was an incredibly mild week in October. We would return.
