We loved everything about the cottage! It was perfect for our needs, and how lovely to be able to bring our dogs along. We kayaked on Lake Wivenhoe, and road our bikes on part of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. How lovely to return in the afternoon to such a quiet, peaceful spot for the night and enjoy the surrounding bird song. The bed was comfortable and the cottage was fitted out with everything we could have needed. We hope to return for a longer stay!

We loved our stay at The Old Cottage. A perfect peaceful getaway. The yard was secure and pet friendly. The cottage kitchen had all the essentials and BBQ was a bonus. The general store sold wood and kindling so we enjoyed the fire pit each night. Definitely BYO chairs for the fire, the provided stools get a little hard. We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous stay at Makayla-Ann's beutiful cottage. The location was stunning and very peaceful with the river in walking distance. The cottage was in pristine and clean condition and had everything you needed for food preparation and meals. We loved the old photos of the area on the walls! We cannot wait to stay again next time we visit the Somerset region! Thank you for being a lovely host!
