The location is perfect , a couple of canals away from the tourist area but next to the major canal. The two apartments that are part of the deal was perfect for our situation (my husband and I stayed in one apt and our son and wife stayed in the other) The apartments had been recently renovated and were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Fabrizio was an excellent host- he met us where the water taxi dropped us off and walked us to the flats. He gave us a list of restaurants in the area and one in particular was spectacular. The only downside (although not for us) was that the flats are Venetian funky. It is in an old building that although renovated, the inside structure was kept.... Meaning that, some of the doorframes were low, the floors on a slant and the staircase narrow. For us, it added to the experience of being in Venice.
