Fantastic house for 3 families. Unfortunately there was a septic issue during our stay which meant the 2 b’rooms and deck closest to the right side of house absolutely stunk the whole time. Frustratingly, despite messaging the manager several times, the problem was only dealt with on the second last day. Also: The vacuum doesn’t work and there’s no inside broom to clean the floor, a corner cupboard in the kitchen came off it’s hinges, and the curtains don’t work in master bedroom and rumpus room. We reported this to the manager so hopefully will be fixed before next visitors. The walk to the river is approx 800mtrs down a very steep Rocky hill- but lovely when you get there. We really loved our stay, but just wish the management had’ve been more responsive and less dismissive to deal with the septic issue. When the matter was finally escalated to the owner it was dealt with immediately. We took off 1 point for the smell and 1 for the poor management, otherwise a really great house.

This was close to Bega as well as very close to Tathra. Great spot for families. Lots of variety of activities at the doorstep.

Shellie’s place was exactly what our family was looking for. We were able to have our Christmas holiday, under one roof with plenty of space to relax, and have a wonderful time. The communication on how to get there was clear and access information was concise. I would highly recommend this venue for a family home holiday.
