Great place in a quiet location near to Leicester. The rooms were all quite large with modern facilities and tasteful decoration. Gin was quick to respond and provided all the useful information required for the stay.

It was really dirty: dust, dried spills, cobwebs, crumbs, dirty cutlery, congealed fat on cookware, cigarette butts in the garden. I sent pics to Gin who apologised saying the cleaning service they use had messed up. He was polite and quick, bringing a team round the next day to clean. He refunded the cleaning fee which I felt wasn't enough. We couldn't enjoy the house for the first 24h, so felt a fair refund would be at least the cost of 1 night. I say 24h because: -1st night was really stressful with the dirt, having to make a complaint and sleeping in beds that hadn't been changed. They smelled musty and had light stains, so the cleaners must have missed those too -Breakfast in a dirty kitchen -Cleaners in until 6pm next day Gin didn't budge on the refund which was less than half the cost of 1 night. It needs maintenance since the listing pics were taken: chipped paint in the kitchen, broken curtains and plugs, missing fridge shelves, pilling bed sheets, not enough crockery etc.

Great stay at Gin’s property, was perfect for us, we rented the property as we were getting together with some old friends. The place was very clean, lots of space and a great location not too far from everywhere we wanted to go. Will certainly recommend and will be happy to book again next time we are in town. Thanks Gin!
