Thank you Maddie for a wonderful stay, and for being so communicative, flexible and kind. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, perfect for a cosy winter stay. Maddie went far beyond what's necessary, providing lots of thoughtful goodies and generally thinking of everything you might need for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. We didn't have good weather, but the cottage was the perfect place to cosy up after Christmas, and the dog had a lovely time too. Thank you so much again.

Dear Maddie, I am the cousin of Joe who booked for us and we stayed in your cottage last night. We were touched by your warm words of welcome and the efforts to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. The chocolate was really a comfort! We did not make breakfast as we went to Joe's family to have breakfast together. The place is really a hidden germ, in the middle of the lovely place and still very quiet, and so complete and lovely decorated, with a wonderful X-mas tree. The flat was very charming, cosy and in a great location right near all the antique shops. Maddie was easy to communicate with and kindly left us some food for breakfast and treats for tea! The flat was clean and had everything you needed. I would highly recommend this place!

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Maddie’s cottage. It was great to be located so centrally (and not to be at the top of of one of Lewes’ hills!). The place was clean and well equipped. It had a welcoming feel and Maddie’s breakfast offerings are a nice touch! Altogether, my friend and I were very happy to have chosen this lovely cottage for our short stay, to explore the wonders of Lewes.
