Thank you for hosting our group. We booked the Airbnb to celebrate my sister’s birthday before she gives birth to her first child. Shang was great at accommodating our request to check in and check out times. Only big downside for us and what we found a little odd was having to bring our garbage and recycling with us before departure. Perhaps not charging a cleaning fee would offset this thought. We live 2 hours away and we didn’t appreciate having to hold 3 days worth of trash in our car for so long. We didn’t get to enjoy the backyard as we hoped due to the extreme heat but it was nice to look at. Great to see neighbours canoeing by and family of geese hanging out in the backyard. 5 adults stayed overnight, it was a little small for sleeping arrangements but dining, kitchen and living room space was a good decent size. Washroom was really nice. Looks like the recently renovated. Bunk bed didn’t feel the safest so one two of us opted out to share the couch. No one slept on the top bunk. Best for kids not adults. I enjoyed the medium to firm bed mattress I slept on but the rest of my group thought it was a little too firm. Overall, our stay was good but a little pricey for the place.

Shang's place was easy to find and perfect size for our group. We were 5 adults coming to do a day work trip and we didn't stay overnight. She has willing to negotiate a discount rate given that we weren't staying over so very accommodating. The main space was excellent. New kitchen, enough appliances, dishwasher, fuse ball table, dining table...everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The outdoors had a fire pit which we didnt use and a BBQ, which we did. They are lake side, but tucked in so you can't exactly dock a boat or go into the water. But it was nice to be waterside nonetheless. It came with 2 bikes which we didn't get to use but I'm sure would have if it were a leisure trip. I'd def consider rebooking for family trips in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

This cottage has everything we needed as a home base for a golf weekend. We enjoyed using the BBQ and sitting around the fireplace outside. The place was very clean and the bathroom was nice. We were surprised that there was no bath towels provided.
