What a unique place! It’s like walking back in time to the 1920’s and even earlier. The little cottage is beautifully appointed with original antiques and curios from the early 1900’s and many original books, sone over 100 years old. There was so much to look at and take in we didn’t want to go out. The living room is so comfortable with generous sofas and reading lights, the kitchen, in many respects original came with a divine cocktail mirrored cabinet full of crystal glasses. The chandelier on the toilet added quirky charm to the ‘ water closet’. The original breezeway that separates the original cottage from the kitchen area has the original Venetians in the windows to allow a beautiful cross breeze. The beds were super comfy, mine worn a superb hand made quilt above the bed head. The whole cottage, situated right next door to the majestic historic Wiss Emporium ( full of great shopping and fabulous coffee ) is charming. A real gem and we will definitely be coming back.
