This property is all about the view - sitting out on the balcony looking out to the castle and the sea was priceless. That being said, 2 days before arrival we received an email from the property owner (not Bookiply) and were told we would be required to pay him 280 euros upon arrival - 200 for a security deposit and a 20 euro charge per person for linens. The only charge stated in the listing was a 5 euro per person charge for towels. It took a few emails but eventually the security deposit was waived although we still had to pay 80 euros for linens - bed sheets and towels - for the 4 of us. As of today I see the property description has not been changed to show any of this so something to be aware of. A few other problems - the stove wasn't working properly and one of the shower hoses sprung a huge leak. Overall, after all problems were ironed out (other than the linen fee) we did love the location and Castiglion della Pescaia is a beautful villlage. Our stay was a good one.
