Both Deleene and her eco-friendly cabin were and are simply amazing. I can’t gush enough about this place, to anyone and everyone I meet. I was in a rough place mentally and emotionally and in need of a spot to get my head on straight; Deleene’s place was sheer and utter kismet. From the listing it had everything I was looking for - when I got there it was SO much better than the pictures or descriptions. She had taken care to make sure I knew how to get there and was always responsive and helpful with the few questions I had. Every design element, every touch in the cabin was thoughtfully placed for aesthetic and/or utilitarian purposes. There’s a level of care and empathy that’s palpable; I was alone for my trip, but never once did I feel lonely. The surrounding land (and nearby lake) is gorgeous and welcoming and healing. I got so much more than what I came for and I’ll be forever grateful to you for that, Deleene ♥️ I already cannot wait to come back!

This was our second time at Serenity Woods and it was just as great as the first time. It's the perfect place to get some quiet time and enjoy nature. The deck is one of our favourite areas, because you can enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather. (Great place for a mid-day nap too!) We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and saw a huge blanket of stars and even the northern lights. The cabin is full of thoughtful touches such as candles, bubble bath and cozy blankets. The cupboards have everything you could need and more. Deleene is an amazing host, who replies immediately and goes above and beyond for her guests. We can't say enough good things about this hidden gem! We will return every year for as long as Deleene is sharing it with others.
