We love escaping to Kendra's place for a mom's weekend away. The games room is perfect for karaoke and dancing and the hot tub overlooking to water can't be beat!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Kendra's place. The house is set up perfectly, and we really appreciated the recreation space in the basement, as well as the hot tub and kayaking on the river. The location is perfect, quiet, yet close to groceries, gas, and restaurants. We made time to go up the road to see the canal lock and walk the trail.

Beautiful location with plenty to do. Everything was exactly as described and in excellent condition. Kendra reached out a couple of times to ensure we were enjoying our stay and that there were no problems. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was a great chalet for a get together with other family’s. The properly is nicely renovated and had everything you might need. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the electrical outlet (all of them) outside the house did not work. After contacting the host, we found out she was aware of the situation and she did apologize. I wish we would’ve been told this in advance. We were there with multiple electric vehicles, and therefore we were not able to keep them plugged in to keep the batteries warm as it’s winter. Therefore this affected our trip back home and during our stay we had to make some pitstop to charging stations in the area. This was frustrating. Despite that, I did not remove a star rating off (still have 5 stars) as we were very happy with the property & the hosts honest response.

We had a great time. The layout of the house was good, with common rooms away from the bedrooms so as not to disturb people sleeping. However, it is not practical to have 2 ensuite bathrooms as 8 of us had to share one hallway bathroom. Two bedrooms are also MUCH nicer than the other ones. The house was otherwise spacious, fantastic kitchen. Nice view of the river and jacuzzi. The basement was very complete, we enjoyed the pool tables, board games for the kids, etc. The host was responsive and provided clear and complete instructions. On the negative side, the couch is so uncomfortable, the cushions keep sliding so you are constantly falling over and having to reposition everything. House supplies were in very limited quantity (4 toilet paper rolls for 13 persons for 2 days), about 1g of salt, almost no paper towels and not enough dish soap to cover the entire stay, no dish towels. You don’t want to be stressing over that kind of stuff on a weekend away. Overall we had a great weekend
