Chill out at our comfortable family home with nice garden in a friendly small country village. Very suited for a animal loving family with (small) children or a couple. This accommodation comes with two cats (one very young and an older one) who live in the house and a rabbit in the garden. We ask of our guests to take care of them, so we welcome animal lovers! Our lovely quiet village is just 15 km outside the vibrant city centre of Amsterdam, to be reached within 15 minutes by bus. On the ground floor have a large living room, complete kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine at your disposal. Large backyard with cosy seating area and sun until the evening. Also there is a home office at this floor including a sofa that can turn into a bed. At the second floor is the master bedroom with a large (180x200 cm) comfortable bed (Tempur matrass!). One extra room for changing and storing your clothes, also a small office area with desk. And a children's room with two double beds. A baby camping bed available upon request. Comfortable bathroom with rain shower and bathtub.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. On s’est senti comme à la maison et nous avons été ravis de s’occuper des animaux. La maison est spacieuse et agréable. Et nous avons apprécié nos échanges avant et pendant nos vacances avec les propriétaires très disponibles et adorables. Si l’occasion se présente nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
Logement confortable situé à la campagne mais seulement à 10 min en voiture du parking relais Nood d'Amsterdam. Possibilité de prendre le bus (non compris dans l’Amsterdam Card). Idéal pour une famille aimant les animaux. Les enfants ont adoré !
A great place to stay, especially for a family. Nice location in a calm village, close to Amsterdam and other villages such as Edam, Volendam and Marken. Femke was a great and friendly host, always replying quickly, giving recommendations etc.
We had a nice stay with the family (2 adult/2 kids). Well known "cheese-cities" where near by. Also Amsterdam (via Bus 20 min or P&R Noord). The north-sea coast is just 45 min away. The house was well prepared for us and we had 3 family pets as an extra to take care for which was funny. The garden was good to relax after coming home. Thanks Femke!

Quiet neigbourhood in countryside little village, with very friendly and helpful neigboors.
Amsterdam Centre is only a bus ride of 15 minutes away. The busstop is at less than 10 minutes walking distance from the house.

I am educator in visual arts and I live with my husband and two small sons in the lovely village Ilpendam, just north of Amsterdam! Only 10 minutes by bus you are at Amsterdam Noord, where there is a very rich cultural life. In only 15 minutes by bus you are at Amsterdam City centre. We have a lovely family house with two bedrooms and two office spaces in a very quiet family neighborhood. The house is walking distance to a lovely local grocery store, a restaurant/bar and the busstop. Our house is very suitable for families: it has a wonderful garden to enjoy, with many plants and a nice terrace to sit and have a drink, and a trampoline for children to enjoy and play. Very important family members who are included in the house are our lovely cats and rabbit. So animal lovers are welcome!
