Our stay at the Carson City house was a welcome retreat from busy San Jose. Even though it felt a lot smaller than pictured, the place was warm, quiet, and clean. We found the cozy, artsy queen bedroom to be just as pictured, very clean and romantic. We loved having the refrigerator in the room. The zen room attached to the kitchen was my favorite part of the house. There were funky things all around the room, like stained glass windows, ornate furniture, and fabric prints. We enjoyed hot cocoa and talked for hours on the couch to decompress from a long day of hiking in the snowy mountains. The house in Carson City, Nevada is very close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and Costco. We had the opportunity to communicate with Katie, the owner, about places to to see and where to eat around Lake Tahoe. She made our one day at the lake incredibly memorable. Ally was always available to help and super friendly, as well! We felt very taken care of!
I very much enjoyed my stay here. The house had everything I needed, and was super comfy/homey. There are two other rooms where other airbnb guests stay in. So, it’s kind of like dealing with roommates in the shared spaces, like the kitchen, which is expected, as it is a room in a shared house! Highly recommended. Would stay here again.

We live in a quiet upscale neighborhood very close to the heart of Carson City.
A car is recommended but Katie can either pick you up from the airport or drive you to the lake for $50 each way. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are also available.
