Super charming flat in the heart of an historic area. On a quiet, ZTL street it resides among beautiful buildings and when you reach the flat, you’ll see both the city and the snow-peaked mountains from the views inside. (Have awareness that there are some stairs to reach the flat). Marco was clearly interested in making sure that I was comfortable with the flat’s features as well as the area. He reached out with me several times to see if I needed anything. The nicest treat was the fresh pastries that he brought in the morning. This is a great spot in Sondrio! Well done Marco.

Our stay in Sondrio at Marco’s B&B couldn’t of been better. Marco’s daughter greeted us politely and helped us find the property and check in straight away. When Marco arrived, he was extremely friendly and helpful in giving us a tour of the place and some local recommendations. He couldn’t of been a better host. The location is great for those who want lovely views in a very quiet property (as long as you don’t mind the steps and short walk to the town). The cabin is perfect and looks bigger than the pictures and you can tell a lot of thought has been put in by Marco and his family. If we visit Sondrio again, we will 100% book with Marco!

Via Scarpatetti is the perfect trifecta of holiday accommodation: a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location with a lovely and helpful host. Honestly the best AirBnB (or other place) I’ve ever stayed in. And Marco is a really great person too. Sondrio is the perfect location for a holiday in the Italian Alps, half way between Lake Como and Tirano (for the Bernina Express), with lots of wonderful hiking and cycling routes - Marco has some leaflets in the apartment and the Visit Sondrio infopoint is also really helpful. The Nuovo Pirtico pub and Trattoria Olmo are well worth a visit too.

Die Wohnung ist traumhaft im wunderschönen Sondrio gelegen, sie war wunderbar ruhig und super sauber. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Sie war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um das Städtchen zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Marco war sehr freundlich und er war immer gut zu erreichen. Er hat uns sofort geholfen als wir eine kleine Unstimmigkeit mit dem Gasherd hatten. Gerne wieder!
