Great camp site, lots of room and could fit multiple tents. Great location with cute shops and the beach is just minutes away. Highly recommended.

We had one of the two campsites, that share an outhouse on the edge of a small pond that has wonderfully massive, mature trees all around! The sound of cars during busy cottage season, on the nearby road is easily tolerable, if you are from a part of the city that has constant traffic noise. The pond is worth a paddle around with the provided canoe as there is one very tall pine on the other side of the pond that is worth a view from below in the canoe! The star viewing is great on a clear night, and by chance we saw Starlink passing clearly overhead, and my wife who had no idea about the internet service went from shocked to amazed after a brief explanation! Firewood is free so that is a very generous bonus, we added charcoal to cook on top of as we wanted to take it somewhat easy on the offered supply. Coyote's yapping in the distance, a visit from a brave, harmless, hungry raccoon, turtles, frogs, and toads around the pond, and lots of bird sounds made the site very enjoyable! btw.. the snorkeling on either side of the beach at Barnet's Park in Calabogie is quite something...gravel beds with a variety of stone in shallow water with plenty of minnows and crawfish, sections of massive car sized boulders with a variety of patterns close to the shore, and occasional clam beds in the sand.

Lisa's camping site was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy an escape from the city. She responded quickly to inquiries and email. The indications to get to the camping was very clear. Lisa was very accomodating in letting me change the reservation (adding guests) last minute. Thank you Lisa for letting us stay at your camping site!

Great place, nice to be waterfront on the river, canoe available, lots of firewood for a campfire, close to Calabogie Motor Sports.

We had a great stay! We came to the area for rock climbing in Calabogie, and this site was very conveniently located just a short drive from local beaches and hiking trails. The site is a big closer to the highway than we'd hoped, but after driving through town, we noticed most of the local camping is right off the highway, so it seems that's par for the course. The views from the site are beautiful, there's lots of flat space to pitch a tent, and Lisa was a great host. Thank you!
