We so very much loved our stay here and wish we had booked for longer. The wide expansive view of the ocean and the crashing of waves below us cleared our heads and made for wonderful nights sleep. That and the very comfortable king sized bed. :) We saw whales from our balcony, schools of puffers and other fish below and were delighted to have a few schools of manta rays swim by-occasionally taking to the air and making very satisfying belly flop sounds when the hit the water again. The kitchen was easy to use and outfitted with the basics that we needed. The sliders to the balcony were huge, the door screens brand new and everything slid open and closed smoothly. The shower was hot and with great pressure. The hotel is an easy 2 minute walk to the Oxxo where you can pick up beer and snacks, Boca is an easy 5 minute bus ride (for a bigger grocery run) and the bus will pick you up right in front of the hotel. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 10 days and loved every day. This is not your grand five star resort but it has something special that they do not. It has an amazing host, unbeatable views, and endless sea life to view from your balcony. We saw whales everyday, turtles, endless fish, dolphins, a giant manta Ray, and I’m pretty sure a shark. The sound of the waves was relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious and I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. Sometimes you hear the sound of a noisy truck driving by on the main road, but it didn’t bother me. Two beautiful beaches are only 5 minutes by bus in either direction. Downtown is approximately 30 minutes by bus. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Lucy was incredibly kind. The room had an amazing view. It was close too local food and a convenience store. The breakfast was amazing. This stay was amazing for the price.

We totally loved staying at Ma. De La Luz’s place!!!! Lucy, Carlos and Brisa offer warm, friendly, attentive service. What we appreciated was the personal welcoming ( & send off), cues on local transportation/culture plus flavorful meals!! All this paired with our room with FANTASTIC ocean views and super exciting to see whales from our balcony!!!
