On the grounds of a historic Victorian farmhouse, the Carriage House building has been carefully built into a 2-room inn. This listing is for our largest and most upscale room, a spacious 600 square foot suite. This unique inn under the Cottonwoods pairs Victorian elegance with luxurious modern comforts. The space includes: a king bedroom, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet area, kitchenette with basic breakfast offerings provided, dining area, sitting area, desk, and a private courtyard with comfy outdoor furniture and a bubbling fountain. The property sits in the heart of the Village of Corrales, directly across the street from the Farmer's Market and surrounded by nature trails. We are tucked into the Cottonwood forest ("the Bosque") of the Rio Grande riverbed and it's surrounding farmlands, but the conveniences of and access to the city of Albuquerque begin at a quick 2 miles down the road.

Located in the center of the Village of Corrales, we are directly across the street from the Farmer's Market, park-land, and aqueduct walking and biking trails to the west. Behind us to the east, is a quiet residential street leading toward the Sandia Mountains, the Bosque ("forest") with more trails, and the Rio Grande River (which is less than a 1 mile walk).
An active stable is located on our 1.5-acre grounds. You can watch the horses from your dining table.
Across the street (about 200 yards away), is a public swimming pool, tennis, racquetball, basketball, and sand volleyball courts, a fishing pond, horse arena, skate park, fruit trees, and ample open grass fields.
The quaint little Village of Corrales hugs the Rio Grande and is a gem of fertile farmland and orchards, massive Cottonwood trees, wineries, breweries, art galleries, antiques, and restaurants. Our Heritage House is smack in the middle of the Village, a bit of a locally-famous treasure.
We are 17 miles NW of Abq Sunport Airport, right off of a main road.
Walking, biking and horseback riding trails surround the property.

We have recently finished the Carriage House rooms and are so excited to share them. Meanwhile, I work from home in the main house, where we are also still living as we fix it up.
