This is a terrific house top to bottom. Beautiful views of Lake Superior, plenty of space inside and outside, and only a 5 min drive to Grand Marais. Scott is a very friendly host. I would love to to stay there again.

This was a great place for our group (6 adult women)! Close to Grand Marais for food and shopping, as well as easy access to hiking trails (one of our main activities when we visit). The kitchen was very well stocked, the home's floor plan was very nice (lots of room to move around) and the beds were very comfortable (always a plus!). This is one of the rare times we have been able to enjoy a fire outside at night (it is usually cold/windy/buggy when we are up there this time of year). Being able to use the fire pit was a really nice treat. This is one of the few places we have stayed over the many years where we hope to book again in the future!

What a treat! Three of us stayed here in September and were pleased with the secluded beauty of the property. A little river runs by the house, which was fun to explore. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The host was probably responsive, we didn’t know because we didn’t need anything! Super comfy downstairs couch and plenty of blankets. A perfect proximity to Grand Marais, we hiked to pincushion mountain and did a day trip to Temperance River. We had a spot to do our morning yoga and used the gas grill two nights. Overall, it felt like a home as opposed to a rental. We hope to stay again in the future and use the fire pit!
