Overall a nice place to stay, but with a few caveats that maybe are not clear upon first inspection. The good is that the pool area is incredible and it has just amazing views. The host was very communicative and helpful. The house does have two issues (which may not be a big deal for everyone), that were not clear from the listing. First is the AC - while the home does have one window unit in the main room which works fairly well there, the bedrooms do not have their own units (except one which has a freestanding unit, but this worked so poorly it was more akin to a fan). This means that in the heat of the summer the bed rooms are uncomfortably hot at night. The second issue is the size of the home (again maybe not an issue for everyone). While the home is two stories, the bottom level is unfinished and just contains the laundry room, along with a second restroom and a gym. It has a separate entrance from the main home. The top level has all 3 bedrooms squeezed together on one level with only a single bathroom, making for a little tight accommodations if each bedroom is being occupied. The bedrooms are all in a row which doesn't afford too much privacy for any couples, as there is no separate master bedroom. For the price I had assumed the home would be more spacious & afford a bit more sleeping privacy. Finally - this has nothing to do with the home really but for the Americans out there Goog-le Maps navigation is very funky in this area for some reason, and constantly wanted to route us down small dirt paths in and out of the home's neighborhood in lieu of the main paved road. Just take the main road.. ignore the Maps directions.

Alex is a wonderful host, very helpful when we had any questions and loads of great recommendations for our stay. The villa is in a beautiful spot, the pictures don't do justice to the incredible views. We loved sitting on the terrace above the pool in the evening watching the magnificent sunsets or the occasional lightning show! The pool and surrounding area is wonderful and Alex kept it brilliantly clean. The house is small and cosy with beautiful decorations. I loved all the houseplants! It had everything we needed and the outdoor barbecue was perfect. We found it a little hot but we did stay during a heatwave! We had a wonderful time there and it's very convenient being an easy drive from Barcelona. Thank you so much Alex for a wonderful stay :-)

A very very special property with fantastic features (the pool area and view! ) and exceptional hosts. The house was finished to a high standard with real care and creativity. We loved our stay and the hosts couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. Would highly recommend for families, couples and friends alike.

Alex ist ein sehr engagierter Gastgeber und hat uns mit einem tollen Gastgebergeschenk überrascht. Die Komunikation mit ihm hat sich grundsätzlich schnell und unkompliziert gestaltet. Das Haus hat einen super Ausblick und der BBQ Bereich macht richtig Spaß. Auch bei Problemen war die Kommunikation schnell und Alex sehr hilfsbereit. Da das Haus keine Klimaanlage und auch keine Ventilatoren hat, muss man bei höheren Temperaturen die Fenster offen lassen (wenn man das nicht ohnehin macht), was aufgrund der vielen Hunde in der Umgebung leider nicht ganz geräuschlos abgeht.
