Jill is a fantastic host and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was superb and the bed was well comfortable. The house is in the middle of quiet countryside and allowed me to see a wide variety of wildlife.

Jill is an amazing host, offering her spotless home, with good quality, pure cotton white bed linen and thick white bathroom towels. I especially appreciated the sumptuous bath sheet. My single room was peaceful, with birdsong creating a delightful background. There is however, the difficulty of receiving good WiFi in that room, however it is available in other rooms. Jill's breakfasts offered a generous choice of items including both fresh and home-cooked fruit, juices, mueslis and cereals, Jill's own home-made jams, as well as the offer of a full English cooked breakfast and fresh coffee or tea. I was well prepared for each day! Breakfast in her large conservatory gave me the opportunity to enjoy watching the activities of the various wild birds, squirrels and rabbits in the huge surrounding garden.

Jill and Ian were very welcoming and the room was clean and cosy. The coffee at breakfast was amongst the best filter coffee I have tasted EVER.

Lovely feel of being in the countryside but still very convenient for Dover. Very comfortable, I liked that you could get fresh milk if required for tea and coffee and the breakfast was fantastic!
