Maurice was very helpful, accommodating and responsive. We stayed here before and after our trek through dientes de navarino. It was so nice to have a welcoming, warm space to get good rest, a hot shower, and a delicious breakfast before and after our trek. We had amazing views of the mountains we were about to climb from our room and could easily walk to town. Maurice provided a really helpful map and multiple recommendations for us. Definitely recommend this spot for those coming to the “southern end of the world”.

The accommodation at Katerina and Maurice was excellent, the hosts were welcoming, always at our disposal, the apartment was as Maurice had described it, in general it is worth staying at Maurice's house and I recommend it with all sincerity. Maurice came in the port to pickup us at midnight, and he brought us to the airport.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel FioFio war fantastisch Maurice ist ein äusserst herzlicher Gastgeber, der es jederzeit verstanden hat, unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Er hat ein immenses Wissen über die Gegend und konnte uns sehr wertvolle Tips geben. Als wir nass und durchfroren von unserem Mehrtagestrekking vor seiner Tür gestanden sind, hat er uns mit heissem Tee und einem warmen Snack wieder aufgewärmt und uns kurzfristig ein Zimmer bereitmachen lassen. Das Hotel und die Zimmer selbst sind geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück mit frischem Rührei, gutem Brot und selbstgemachten Kuchen war ebenfalls top. Wir werden die Gespräche mit Maurice vermissen.
