We had a lovely few days in durres, the apartment was clean and stylish and had everything you need! Fast WiFi, hair dryer, extra blankets. Really short walk to great bars and restaurants with lots going on. Close to a supermarket, taxi rank and bus stop that takes you into the old town, made getting around very easy. As a host Matilda was very helpful and replied to anything we asked very quickly! Very happy to have stayed.

Apartmán byl velmi hezky zařízený, slunný, s prostorným balkónem. Ocenili jsme rolety na oknech, které velmi dobře blokovaly světlo. Apartmán je hned u pláže. Hostitelka velmi rychle odpovídala na zprávy a uměla dobře anglicky. Jedinou nevyhodou byla koupelna, která bohužel nešla účinně odvětrávat, takže tak zůstávala vlhkost a zatuchlý vzduch.

Matilda was extremely helpful and responsive, most particularly as we struggled to find the apartment on arrival in Durrës. Our phone map wasn’t helpful and we could have perhaps done with more instructions in the listing. The apartment is on the 5th floor - took us a while to work that out 😆. Basic facilities, which is all you need for a few nights, but you can easily cook a simple meal. Skinny, lumpy pillows and a thin duvet, though there are a couple of blankets in the wardrobe for extra warmth. The balconies would be lovely to sit on in Summer; nevertheless, you get a nice view, especially at sunset. Very quiet apartment building and close to the beach promenade, which is always alive with walkers. A lockbox for the keys would be good, as I left some jewellery behind and only realised after we had shut the door and the keys were inside 😐. Matilda was very kind in offering to post. Great host!
