Mark’s place was wonderful! Great location, only a 10-minute walk from Cleveland Clinic’s main entrance. The bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious, clean, and well-stocked. Plenty of towels and extra linens were available. Spacious kitchen with all necessary cookware, laundry set, and 2-car garage parking was very convenient. TV’s and entertainment options were great. Wonderful outdoor deck, too! The one disappointing feature was the handicap-accessible bathroom — the main reason we booked the property. The wall-mounted seat and grab bar are not properly installed or usable by a disabled person, as both are mounted on top of the tile, which has caused the tile to crack and both to be loose. To correct this, the shower wall tile would need to be removed, the grab bar and fold-down seat mounted directly to the studs, and the tile cut, mortared, and grouted around the mounted ADA hardware. However, if you’re not concerned with using this specific ADA equipment, the property is amazing!

This was my family’s second stay at Mark’s. The bedroom and walk-in shower on the first floor were very convenient for me. The rest of the family were happy to have their own bedrooms upstairs. I did not anticipate needing a wheelchair or walker, but was pleased they were available when I did need them. On one visit we had three cars at the house. Two fit in the garage, and the other car stayed on the street without a problem even though it was posted for 2-hour parking. A driver would drop me off at the Miller Pavilion (J building), return to the house to park, and then walk 8-10 minutes to meet me. This avoided the cost and craziness of the parking garage. All in all, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay. We will definitely stay again if we need to go back.

This was an excellent location for our purposes. My siblings, our mom, and I needed a place to stay during her three days of testing at Cleveland Clinic. My mom has mobility challenges, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom was exactly what we needed. There is plenty of room for everyone else to have their own space upstairs. We were able to make breakfasts and eat our take out comfortably. Parking along the street was no problem. We didn’t move our cars every two hours and did not get a ticket. The house has a very open layout on the first floor that is excellent for any mobility device. While my mom normally just needs a cane, due to one of her procedures, she was not able to walk far afterward. We actually ended up using both the walker and the wheelchair provided in the garage. That was something we didn’t anticipate needing and were very glad to have. Communication with the host was great. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at first, but a simple unplugging and plugging in of the router fixe
