Cons- The deck could use a little TLC. Think a fresh staining is overdue and would help with a lot of the carpenter bees buzzing around. Ant invasion in the kitchen and bathrooms though it is that time of year could be help with basic pest control treatment before arrival. And the biggest thing for me (and only because I'm a cook, and love to cook) The dish wear really needs to be updated and organized better! Looking for things was like finding waldo, and my wife suffered a severe cut washing a measuring cup she didn't realize was cracked on the rim. Pros- House is beautiful and in a very peaceful location. 4 couple and everyone had plenty of room to do their own thing. There was plenty of wood already stacked for use with the fire pit. Right down the street is a great restaurant even if you want to go for a frozen drink or the great ice cream store below the restaurant. Jackie was SUPER communitive. Beds super comfy. Overall, a great place for a getaway. Would go back in a second!

Jackie’s place was just as described in the listing. We had a great time staying in the house. It was colder than expected, so the hot tub was a great addition. There were some issues with some electrical outlets not working making the place very dark outside at night, but Jackie helped us try to fix the problem. When it didn’t work, her husband called and sent out an electrician to fix the problem. Definitely recommend her place.

Jackie’s place was awesome! The place was spacious and fit all 6 of us very nicely. The water access was lovely and was exactly as described. The kitchen was a little dirty and we had to wash the sheets for one of the beds but no big deal at all. It was a blast and we’ll definitely be back.

Jackie was a fantastic host before, during, and after our stay at her beautiful home on Lake Anna. She was clear, concise, and friendly with every interaction. We had a few questions during our stay, and Jackie was able to help and support us quickly. The property itself is open, well kept, and peaceful. When we weren’t all out on the deck, or playing ball on the enormous lawn, we were right at home inside; spacious common areas, accommodating bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms for our group of 12. The layout is perfect for extended stays, providing everyone with areas to gather as a whole, or to quietly break away for a few minutes to take some time to yourself. The home is stylish and modestly decorated, giving a personal touch without sacrificing space for anything you may want to bring during your stay. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home, and I sure hope our next visit to Lake Anna is at Jackie’s!
