The interior has been professionally designed with a bright open-plan sitting room, dining area, and the quirkiest kitchen! The comfortable and radiant sitting room features a roaring wood burning stove, perfect for cosying up on the plush velvet sofas. A few steps away you’ll find the bespoke kitchen and dining area with everything you need to create a real home from home. The airy bedroom welcomes you in with a solid rustic wooden king-size bed; white French linen, luxury towels and cosy dressing gowns are provided for your comfort. This bedroom has been artfully designed with a Somerby bicycle theme in mind, inspired by the Cornish Way Cycle route. The en-suite shower room offers a walk-in monsoon rainfall shower where you can freshen up on return from a long walk in the countryside. From the living area, french doors open out onto a superb decked veranda, overlooking the large landscaped garden and rolling countryside views. This is a beautiful, sunny, quiet and private spot to sit and while away an afternoon; read a book, or sip a taster of Cornish gin after a wonderful day out exploring. The immense grounds offer a beautiful open garden where you may spot ‘Husky’ the little auto-mower ensuring the lawn is always looking its best. You’ll be delighted by the lovely atmosphere afforded by the mature trees, wild flowers and the local wildlife. ‘Four miles as the crow flies’ you’ll find the beautiful Watergate Bay beach, only a short drive away; and just a few miles from Newquay Airport, this holiday home is the perfect location for plane spotters and those who would prefer to travel by air. Very little can be heard apart from the crash of the waves, the call of the birds and the occasional plane overhead. With a public footpath running through the grounds, there are plenty of walking opportunities; and with beautiful Cornish countryside scenery all around, you won't want to miss the opportunity to holiday at Meadow View. For those who enjoy walking, the South West Coastal Path is located nearby, with the walk up to Watergate Bay being a favourite, and many more to explore.
