Our family had such a wonderful stay at the lake house. The location is so serene, it's the perfect place to disconnect and send quality family time. My children (6 and 3) loved fishing off the dock and watching the turtles swim. On a chilly day we enjoyed playing games in the covered porch. My favorite part was enjoying a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine in the evening) and just taking in the peace and quiet out on the dock. The views are stunning and the house is just as pictured. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you Marianne!

One step above camping. While the host was always responsive to our concerns the house requires cleaning and maintenance. The water is brown. Even after running for multiple hours it was brown. We brushed our teeth with bottled water. The kitchen was dirty. Plates cups and pans had to be washed before use. Beds smelled like mildew and bedding clearly wasn’t cleaned frequently. We ended up leaving early and going to a hotel.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at Marianne's place and had a wonderful time. The location was very private and quiet, yet it was only 45 minutes from Columbia, where our daughter is going to school. We rented a boat and loved having access to the dock. The house was clean and Marianne was very quick to respond to any questions. Recommend!

What a view! We had a fantastic visit, lovely weather, and everything we needed. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well-equipped. And how awesome to have the kayaks, paddle boards, and grill available. Would love to visit again!
