Perfect location on a one-way street so limited traffic. Very comfy, clean and well appointed. Nice little patio in back yard-great for an evening glass of wine and for grilling dinner. Short walk to town along the waterfront trail where you’ll find great restaurants and so many cute shops! One note, stairs may be difficult for young children and the elderly, but great exercise for others. Thank you for sharing your home with us and our labradoodle, Sadie!

Our hosts were always available, always answering quickly, always very helpful. If you want a pleasant place to stay in Newburyport and want to be near the harbor walk trail this is a perfect option. Everything was as listed, easy to manage, neighbors were very friendly. Happy to return at a future date...If Lisa will have us !!

We have been visiting Newburyport for 10+yrs & have had the pleasure of staying @countless hotels/Airbnb’s in the area, including this lovely historic home. No shortage of toiletries or bedding/pillows, Great walkable location (a little further than we usually opt for, but wanted to be quieter now that we have a family). Love that its dog friendly and that the host has additional dog sitting services (we did not need but great option!) A few notes for those seeking details: this is a historic home, which offers tons of charm (and the home slants because of its age, which is normal for older homes). no central air, but every room has a window ac unit and it always felt comfortable for us. Note that the window units are on the louder side, didn’t bother us but fyi. The stairs are quite steep so keep in mind for those w/trouble on regular stairs. One bathroom on entry level, bedrooms are upstairs. Would highly recommend staying here!

We felt like it was a space well-designed for dogs so that it was so easy to take care of our animals as well as the space. The hosts made us feel welcome and gave us necessary instructions, but were otherwise unintrusive in every way. We enjoyed the patio and grilling every night. Newburyport is a wonderful, friendly town. No need to pay Cape Cod prices! Go here!
