The Elpis Grove is a private, comfy escape snuggled serenely within the majestic landscape of a sparsely inhabited village in Dharamshala. A self contained dwelling on the 2nd floor with a kitchenette and essentials. Just beyond the front yard is a mesmerizing green walk along a bubbling river where you can immerse yourself in the soaring mountains and rugged ethereal beauty and fresh mountain air. Be humbled by the scenic surroundings and connect yourself with the mother nature. The space has recently been entirely updated. All the floors, walls, and bathrooms are completely new. I am an avid traveler myself and always appreciate the touches and finishings. I love to try out new artistic twists to match the space. It's a passion of mine to create a unique ambiance. We had a good stay at Anubha’s place. We had many challenges but Anubha made our journey better with clear instructions. Mansingh is a gem of a person. Thank you very much for hosting us.

Really comfortable stay at Anubha’s place. Close to the river with natural sound of the river flowing. Looks just like in the photos. Caretaker Mansingh is just a phonecall away and always ready to help with everything- from food, to getting medicines from the market, to suggesting local spots to visit in and around Dharamshala, booking taxis, planning adventure activities like Paragliding etc, and so much more. Special mention to the home cooked food which was better than most of the cafes/restaurants. There is also a small shop on the ground floor with which offers snacks, tea, coffee, maggi, breakfast etc. There is also a open garden with tables to sit near the river and relax. Anubha was also very responsive in answering all queries during our stay. All in all, good location, comfortable rooms, responsive care taker and amazing host! Also, good connectivity to the centre with a car/taxi. Would surely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dharamshala.

Anubha is the most kind, caring, and accommodating host. The caretaker Mansingh is the same. We ate every meal at home because his food was so good, and whatever we needed he provided quickly and always smiling. He is also great at laundry All around it was a beautiful stay!

Had the pleasure of to stay at this place for a short vacation. The place is very easy to locate, in a peaceful surrounding with a river flowing nearby. It is exactly as described in the pictures, neat and clean. Caretaker Mr. Mansingh is very friendly, was always available when required and also provided homely food at nominal rates. For cabs and snacks, one can contact the shop downstairs which provides it at reasonable rates. Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

This makes for an exciting morning walk. You'll see monks and residents jogging along a road midway up the mountain. A bridge passes over the river and pasts a lively local temple.
The area is largely farmland, with terraced wheat fields.
The property is situated on a forested mountainside. There is a view of a tall snow-capped mountain. The environment is peaceful, you feel very far away from the city, however, all the amenities are there. Travel essentials can be easily purchased locally.

You can walk around the neighborhood.
For larger trips, taxi, rental car, or private car is recommended. Additionally, we are not far from the central bus stand that runs between here and Delhi. You would need to take a short ride from the bus stand to here.
