The camping place that they offered was really nice. It was located in the mountains. We would recommend the place for people who need an escape from the big city. It is not Glamping, they made that really clear in the info they gave us before booking but you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful! They offer a pick up service from and back to the station for a small fee, perfect for hitchhikers and people who don’t own a car.

Amazing spot to experience the nature of Portugal especially for people like us who enjoy rustic camping. Dan was helpful and gave us some great tips regarding buying land in the area.

Beautiful place to get off grid and enjoy nature! Your hosts are awesome and swiftly reply to your needs, but also show their boundaries and share their opinions directly, which I appreciate, but may seem harsh. Anyhow, I really enjoyed and recovered well. Thank you!

It was a bit of a trek getting there , but when we arrived very peaceful, surrounded by nature , thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin , fantastic views down the valley , Dan was talkative & friendly, didn’t see much of Biana , hope all works out for you & all the best with your new projects

I had a great time here. Dan and Biana are super nice and know how to treat their guests well. We had interesting conversations over dinner with food which they cooked using garden ingredients and hand-made goat cheese. The place is a very large piece of land that includes a few magical spots along the river where I could be completely alone and in peace with nature. I also enjoyed a walk in the farther areas where I could find water turtles in the river and more magical sports. In the smaller tent under the trees I slept very well and woke up to the morning singing of the birds. The wooden cabin was a different experience of relaxation and connection, it was very clean and welcoming, a beautiful arrangement of a wooden bed with a cute kitchenette and a beautiful spacious balcony overlooking the land. The outdoor shower is beautifully made and the compost toilet is a piece of art in itself and shares the same view and nice breeze. I love the place.
