Ground Floor Entrance with access to downstairs toilet / shower room. Hallway with large coat cupboards. Living Room with wood-burning stove, large 4-person sofa, 2 armchairs and 2 poofs. Large kitchen with electric oven, stove of 4 induction rings, microwave, extra large fridge, dishwasher, food mixer, toaster, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, fondue and raclette machines, and extensive kitchen tools and utensils. Dining Room, separated from the kitchen by a bar with 4 high stools, with table, cutlery dishes and glasses for up to10. Reading Corner, off the dining area, with rocking chair. Sliding French window to garden. All ground floor rooms have large windows with views on each side over mountains, forest and fields. First Floor Master bedroom with Queen size bed (160cm), en-suite shower room with Italian shower, handbasin, toilet, bidet, and heated towel rail. 2 double bedrooms each with queen size beds (160cm). Upstairs living room with 55 inch Samsung TV, and sofa bed (140cm double bed), which is closed off with thick curtains when in use as a bedroom. Separate small office . Family bathroom with bath, Italian shower, handbasin and toilet. There is also a Miele clothes washer/dryers. All bedrooms are provided with storage space and clothe hanging facilities. Mattresses, pillows (2 per person) sheets, towels and duvets are all high quality. Bathrooms are provided with heated towel rails, hair-dryers, shampoo, soap and conditioner. Garage The large garage can take a 4x4 car, and there is a ski-corner with place for skis and boot heating-rack. The garage opens directly into the hall. Parking The chalet is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac private path and an additional car can easily be parked outside the house. PLEASE NOTE: Most activities are within easy walking (or cycling in summer) of the chalet, so a car is not always absolutely necessary, but we recommend having one especially in winter or if you are a skier. For skiing, Chamonix is unlike any other ski resort – the valley is 20 km long and the 4 main domains and lifts are all along the length of it so it is certainly useful to have a car if you intend to take advantage of the various domains and also visit the other nearby ski area included in Mont Blanc ski pass. However if you don't have a car, Chamonix does also have free public transport. All domains are linked by free shuttle buses and the train and normally you pick an area for the day. There is a bus stop 400 m walk away. The ski buses are regular and generally efficient but they can be very crowded at peak times.
