Grand logement, salle de bain spacieuse. Peu d'éclairage naturelle, on doit ouvrir les luminaires en plein jour. Secteur tranquille, qq voitures bruyantes mais rien qui persiste. La proximité de la plage est son plus bel atout. Le matelas de la chambre principale est tellement ferme qu'on dirait un sommier sur lequel on a oublié de déposé un matelas: c'est notre seul bémol.

The apartment is clean and spacious, literally a few steps from the beach (with a beautiful and peaceful view, parasol and loungers are provided) and close to bars, restaurants, market and all the the amenities present in the village. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, they live in the same building and will provide you with all the recommendations and suggestions you might need to enjoy your holiday in Torre Faro. 100% recommended, especially for families with babies!

Maps didn't take us right to the door, but the host's father came out to greet us on the street and take us there. The place is very large and pleasant. We dealt mostly with the host's father, because the owner was out of town. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The owner and his wife speak very good english and were always available.

We were met on the street by Mariella and her husband and warmly welcomed us to the apartment. Two nice bicycles were left for us to use. The apartment is steps away from the sea and just a little further (3 mins) to a nice sandy beach. There is no sea view from the apartment but it’s just outside the door and a table and chairs and lounge furniture is provided for your enjoyment. The apartment is very clean, a typical Italian apartment, and is spacious. The beds are firm and the shower is good. We were warm. There was occasional road noise but nothing ear plugs won’t block if you are a light sleeper. The sea temperature ,17*C , was nice for a winter swim on a sunny day. Mariella recommended her cousin’s restaurant nearby for dinner with inside it outside seating. The host, Salvo, was always quick to respond and even came to the apartment in the evening to help us get onto the internet. We appreciated the water bottles left in the refrigerator. We recommend Nonna Mariella’s apartment

I had a horrible experience upon check-in, as the host arrived 1 and a half hour late and wasn't responding to my messages.I was in need of a toilet and I was left to wait on the street after a long travel. I started ringing the bell of the block of flats and the host s father came out furious and asking me why I was knocking the door so many hours! And the crazy thing is they knew I was about to come! I was upset and told him I was left waiting on the street for 1 hour and a half and he said so what?!?!? Then I said his behavior was unacceptable and left. The host started texting me to come back immediately after I left!?!?Suddenly he became responsive, asking me to come back and apologizing. I decided to go back because I was too tired to look for another place to stay and the very last moment. During my 1 month stay the host and his mother tried to make up for the horrible experience I had upon check-in,but tli always felt they were making an effort to be friendly, but deep down they weren't. I was never able to relax and feel like home in this place as the memory of their horrible welcoming kept coming in mind. Those people really need to learn what hospitality and kindness is,because they do not know.
