Pros: -The view is spectacular -Jean is a very gracious host and was always quick to respond and help us with anything -Very spacious -Quiet at night compared to the center of Taxco -Location is convenient, only about 8 minute walk into town all downhill. The walk back is much harder. -Natural lighting is great -Upstairs public area has amazing views Cons: -The space has potential to be a really beautiful Airbnb, but it is very obvious this a newly constructed building. The floors and counters have chips and are not really appealing. -There are no lights except for overhead fluorescent lights which are incredibly blinding at night time. -There was one small garbage can with a bag for the whole apartment. -There was nowhere to hang towels, coats, or anything really. -The beds were a bit too hard and the bedding was not very comfortable. -The shower is really big, but the water pressure isn't good and because it's an electric water heater, the water is not very warm. "Hot" shower would be a stretch. -To lock the apartment from the inside you need to use the key. -There was no hairdryer and only one roll of toilet paper This space has so much potential, but not enough thought has been put into it so far. It feels a bit rushed to be on Airbnb and I think some more love and care needs to be put into it.
