Very easy to find and plenty of information from James was provided on check in and food options. Cot and highchair were set up and ready for arrival which was great. We just stayed for one night on the way back home from Scotland and it worked perfectly for that. Overall the property was clean, just a few issues in the kitchen which James addressed immediately when we mentioned them. We hadn't realised the only access to the bathroom and single bedroom was via the main bedroom which was slightly awkward with the little one asleep but fine for one night. The dogs loved a quick morning walk around the grounds before we headed off and the toddler found the swings and enjoyed a quick go of them too. Overall James was a very responsive and helpful host and the property is in a very lovely location.

Beautiful setting and cosy, luxurious cottage on a lovely estate. Friendly host and staff, great local pub nearby — what a lovely spot.
