This spot is clean and peaceful- you can just hear the waves crashing from over the dunes. There are lots of comfy spots in the house to sit, read, write, or enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the clean hot tub a lot, and the kitchen was well furnished for cooking. There aren't fantastic views, but everything is clean and neat outside. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone needing a quiet space.

Fantastic stay for a graduation weekend! Chris was SO accommodating and helpful, and we had a lovely trip. The house is beautiful and easy to find, but a quick drive to the city. House was spotless and clean, and the backyard was amazing! The dogs loved it, and we really enjoyed the fire pit and bbq! :) Overall couldn’t be happier with our stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks Chris!

Chris' place was very comfortable. It was very clean and it appeared that they thought of the small touches such as reading lights for the beds and lots of towels. And for once the TV remote was understandable and easy to use!! We brought our dog and the fenced yard was perfect for him. The bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Great backyard for my pup. He loved it. Quiet. Ocean and dunes close by. Close to Eureka and Arcata. A perfect place. Will return.

It was an absolutely perfect peaceful getaway. Husband loved the hot tub. Dogs loved the big yard and securely fenced. The gas fireplace was very efficient but we really needed it only the first day as the weather was warm and sunny. The neighbors were very kind. The isolated neighborhood was a huge plus for us with Arcata and eureka just a close drive away for shopping and all you need. Make sure to go to the Sequoia Zoo and the Redwood Trees Skywalk. Absolutely a n awesome experience. Definitely we will come back for a reboot and relax.
