The house is fantastic, well equipped for a real relaxing stay, the rooms are great, the little pool is fun, and the beach is lovely. It is a walking distance from the old city of Rethymno. The street where the house is located is quite busy, with lots of traffic - so less quiet in the rooms facing the street (2 of the rooms) but the others facing the sea are spectacular! We stayed there as a group of 14 - 4 couples and 6 teenage kids, and it was just perfect. Valia and the host Maria were very helpful, always quick to respond, and very kind to accommodate to our requests and questions. We really appreciate the early check in that was possible. We really had a fantastic stay!
We booked Deux Paradis for a two-week stay in Rethymno during which we had our wedding. Our immediate families stayed with us in the villa. Deux Paradis was exactly what we needed, with 6 separate suites and a large common kitchen and back yard. Everyone had their space but we could also spend time all together. The villa is beautifully appointed, exactly as pictured and comfortable. The location is perfect. It is a bit removed from the hubbub of the old town but just a short walk away from it. There are several excellent restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. The beach is perfect for swimming. The best part of Deux Paradis are the owners. They are so friendly and accommodating. They are always available and extremely helpful. They brought us galactoboureko to celebrate our wedding and gave us several excellent recommendations to enjoy in the area. I cannot recommend staying at Deux Paradis enough!
Wir waren 3 Familien (6 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder). Antonia und ihre Schwester waren bereits zu Beginn immer sehr freundlich. Obwohl wir sehr spät anreisten, waren sie äusserst pünktlich vor Ort, haben uns alles erklärt und waren jederzeit für uns gut erreichbar. Wir hatten keine Probleme mit der Wohnung, konnten uns sehr gut selber verpflegen. Nach 3 Tagen wird alles geputzt und dabei wird noch eine griechische Spezialität gebracht. Rethymno ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar und bot für uns eine angenehme Abwechslung zum Strand direkt vor dem Haus. Die perfekten Bedingungen liessen uns wunderbare Ferien verbringen. Tipp: Bootstour mieten über Valia, ist jeden Rappen wert. Es war ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis. Frühzeitig anmelden, damit der beste Tag auf See gewählt werden kann. Man wird auf Deck verwöhnt und an herrliche Meerspots gebracht.
The Villa was perfect as we were 3 families , we each had a floor to ourselves . The Villa was clean and good quality furniture and fittings . The location was perfect as it was next to the sea and there was also a pool with a small pool for the baby. We all had a great time . Our hosts were friendly and very helpful suggesting local restaurants and taxi transfers . They also gave us pastries to enjoy ! Any problems were dealt with promptly . I would recommend Deux Paradis for large family groups . Chris 😎
Our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 children) stayed for 4 nights and were extremely pleased. First and foremost the host Maria and Valia are amazing, they responded to us immediately to every question we had, including local suggestions and recommendations. Check in was smooth with Maria showing us the villa and its surrounding. The place is just as in the photos and even more! We arrived late in the day but were greeted warmly along with a basket of fruits, snacks and wine. We kept saying that they thought of everything! The level of details was superb, especially when it came to our youngsters (3 kids age 3 or under). It was pretty amazing. Service was 5 stars, best we ever received from any Airbnb stay we had by far (we travel a lot!). Thank you again for a wonderful stay and we look forward to come here again.
